BrownHill Kysarah's Purple LabelThis is a good
looking mature pup, with a bit of a shorter hock, which should make him
a good mover. I can't judge the head, and maybe shouldn't at this age,
since he is turned away, but looks like he will be masculine enough.
Great pigment, and will darken with age

An all black, mostly stacked to hide the rear. But, I love the head,
body type looks great, and might be a good dog, when mature
|
3rd 02
Hellwigg's Running ManI like the
structure, but seems steep in croup. I also think the long hock might
turn into a problem, but if the dog can handle it, may not be the
problem it appears at this age. The young dogs are and can be soft in
pastern, and that looks like the case here. But, I wouldn't worry about
it, they are up, and probably will be perfect when the pup matures.

This is a handsome young male. He may have a bit of a
weak back, but at this age it is not going to be a problem. I
love the proportions |

This is a difficult class and would come down to movement. But
the ribbing and prosterem of the number 7 dog is terrific. He stands
proud and although a bit soft in pasterns, is the best overall of
the class. I do think the size is less than the other entry, but he
might be at the bottom of the class. |

06Hellwigg's Locomotion
What a handsome dog. Very stallion type, and while a bit
long in hock, looks like he could manage the movement, and I
would expect him to be a bit loose going away with those
long hocks, at this age. Movement might change my mind in
this class. This dog has a great head and ear set, and would
probably grow to be a super-star

DownThis is my type of dog. Strong
looking, comfortable in the ring, with the "look of eagles."
Again we see a long hock, but he is young and although a bit
shallow in body, I expect he will grow into a good looking
adult. This is a dog I might want to hold back, and then
bring out to wow the crowd when fully mature

08Shadowvalley's
DaretoCompare WillimarThis dog looks
fully mature at this age, and from the picture his feet look
a bit loose. It may just be the way he is stacked, but I
have to judge what I see. I think his pigment if fine, but
he could lighten up as he grows. At this age, he is just
fine, and could even darken. I think the head is a bit
refined, but it might be the way he is stacked, and it makes
his ears look a bit underset. It is hard to know for sure,
the picture is taken from an angle that does not show off
the head properly |

Hellwigg's By GeorgeI love the
stucture of this dog. A real stallion type, and short
coupled, which is something we are missing. I would like to
see a shorter hock, as I suspect the dog might lift in the
rear at full extension, but can't tell from this picture.
This is my style of dog. |

10"Tugger"
This is a good looking male, and if young, might
mature into a great one. He appears a bit shallow in body at
this time, and also the neck is long and would tend to give
him a great outline in movement. I do think he needs more
prostereum, but this is something you can't always see from
a picture. I do like the angles of the rear, and it looks
like he might be a bit steep in front, which would make it
hard for front extension.

What more can you want in a
dog. What a great outline, and expression. I expect his
owner is off camera, which helps. He appears to have a great
front and the angle of the rear seems to match the front. I
love the croup, and the prostereum, which is something we
need more of in the breed. The ears seem to be set on
properly, and he has that long arching neck we want today.

12Kysarah's Too Cool
BrownHillI am a sucker for a sable.
This dog has the style and type that catches your eye. I do
think the head might be a bit refined, but it might just be
the picture. The feet are tight, and the shoulder seems to
be a bit restricted, but he is pegged in the picture, so I
can't tell. Also, the picture seems to hide the croup, so I
have a problem telling what is going on |

13Hellwigg's Causin' A
CommotionThere is not a lot to not
like here. There is also not much you can see. Certainly he
is a handsome male, with great pigment. But, the way he is
stacked, I can't tell what the shoulder might be, and that
is so important in our breed today. His hocks seem a bit
sickle hocked to me, and that might ruin his movement. But,
if he can handle them, it might not. From the picture, I
have to place him third. |

What else can you want in a
German shepherd? A true male, finished out, with a proud
head carriage, powerfull bone, and great pigment. If he can
move, he would have it all. |

An interesting picture, but certainly a short
coupled dog, with great looking front structure, good
pasterns, and a strong head. I suspect he is better looking
than his picture, and it was close between him and the third
place dog. |

TooI do like this dog. In the
picture, his head looks a bit refined, but that might be the
fact that his mouth is closed, and I can only judge on what
I can see. I do like the length of neck and the pigment,
while a bit light, is sufficient for me, but might bother
another judge. Certainly well coupled, and all German
shepherd. Movement could change this class, very easily.
